The physical, emotional and spiritual journey that parallels the life of our bodies remains, for most of us, a mystery that eludes the reason of science and the control of technology.  In the Mysteries Series I gather together collections of universal and particular symbols that elude to this introspective journey and the substance and continuity of life. I use a divided compositional field to frame and separate distinct spatial areas and conceptual ideas. I do this to emphasis multiple narrative possibilities and interpretations. The images are layered into an illusive space that negotiates historic and cyclical time and the timelessness of dreams, myth and memory.
