I am committed to creating works that encourage consideration of our relationship to the natural world. In the series ‘nothing is indifferent to us’ I employ the drape and structure of woven tapestry to create objects that allude to garments and encourage interaction with the viewer. I am interested in the tradition of using decorative pattern to mimic, order and romanticize the natural world.  I have decorated these works with patterns drawn from abused environments or endangered species.  My intent is to suggest an object that could be worn, placing the human body at the centre of the circumstances changing the natural world.
